Fresher's Fair 2
Are you interested in our classes, what we do and when we do it? If so, pop down to Fresher's Fair this Saturday (30/01/10) where we'll be selling membership and merchandise.
2010 Updates (Added 15/01/2010)
Firstly, we hope you've all had a great New Year and are looking forward to what we've got in store for you in 2010!

We've got a very busy term coming up which should provide some interest to everyone in the society. We are currently looking for a new Salsa Rep and a new Advanced Street Teacher. If you think either of these roles sound perfect for you keep checking your webmail for details as to how to achieve either position.

This term, sees the culmination of a lot of hard work with the prestigious Loughborough Dance Competition on the 20th February, Fusion in Week 8 or the Dance Society elections in Week 9 there are plenty of oppurtunities to get noticed for your involvement.

Welcome to York freshers and welcome back all you dance soc old timers. We have a brand new line up of teachers for this academic year so make sure you go along to the classes and check them out. The timetable is available on here. Make sure you all come and find us at freshers fair, become a member and join the mailing list. Membership is just £5 and all classes in week 2 are just £5!! Look out for our newsletters and information on Loughborough auditions. York won Tap at Loughborough so we want to win even more this year! The whole comittee is looking forward to meeting new people!

Welcome to the Dance Society (added 13/10/2008)
Welcome Freshers of 2008! We hope you are excited as we are about this next year, and that you can all find some time to get involved in our wonderful society! We have a lot to offer, for those who have never tried dancing before, to those who have been dancing all their lives! We hope our website helps you find out what's going on in The University of York's Dance Society and if you have any questions do not hesitate to contact us on the emails provided on the homepage and we will do our best to reply asap. Look out for our talented performances at Fresher's Ball and Access All Areas in Fresher's week, and most importantly, don't forget to sign up at Fresher's Fair on Saturday 19th October! Our lovely committee will be on hand to answer all of your questions and leaflets will be available. Once you've done that, we'll send you an email to get the year started! Can't wait to see you all, enjoy the rest of your summer!

The sun is out! What better way to get in shape for summer than coming along to some of our dance classes! With our great variety, for beginners and improvers across Tap, Jazz, Break Dancing, Salsa and Street there is no excuse! Check out the timetable for details and don't hesitate to get in touch with any questions, comments and queries. See you there!
